Roadtrippers is an app that uses Google Maps to help you plan a route, you can save trips and edit them and the app will even calculate fuel costs, time and distance.

Stopping at a roadside attraction can be a fun way to break up a drive. Roadside America, is an online guide to find offbeat tourist attractions. You can simply filter on the route you’ll be taking and then search for interesting sites to stop at. As of right now the top trending spot is Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas.

The site has a field team that reviews each of the attractions and provides a write-up plus any pertinent information that is needed (like cost, parking, etc). So when you’re planning your next road trip be sure to check out some interesting spots you can pull off the highway and explore!
